Desktop tools built directly out of the lab's research — audio plug-ins, a network-jamming app, and a sound-feature extractor. Each one grew out of a project on the research page.

The expanded edition of Codec Crusher: a dedicated Packet Loss section — density, tempo sync, rate — bolts the lab's dropout research directly onto the codec-crush effect.

Puts the classic packet-loss-concealment algorithm from SPIRAL's dropout research directly in a plug-in: a Levinson–Durbin linear predictor extrapolates each dropped packet from the audio it just learned — standard VoIP jitter-buffer concealment, run past the point of transparency until the "repair" becomes the effect.

Streams audio between musicians playing together from different locations. A fully functional network music perfromance tool, and a test-bed to the lab's closed-form continuous-time packet-loss-concealment model so a dropped network packet doesn't turn into a jarring gap mid-performance.

Extracts high-level sound descriptors — valence, arousal, and Bark-frequency features — from a folder of audio files, using the Essentia MIR library. Built to feed the lab's generative sound-design and soundscape-affect research.
